THE CASTLE OF SAN PIETRO
THE ORIGINAL CASTLE
It is a small castle which has some of its original walls and internal lay-out. It held an important strategic position for Rocca Contrada. By the existing walls is the Sanctuary of Montevado which contains a beautiful painting of the Madonna, probably by the artists Piergentile and Venanzo.
