THE CASTLE OF MONTALE
THE ORIGINAL CASTLE
From the same period as the other castles, it was disputed by the diocese of Senigallia and attacked by Braccio da Montone. The surrounding walls, ravelins and towers are interesting. The church is dedicated to S. Silvestro where there are traces of the Silvestrian Monastic Order.
